Delivering significant savings without compromising quality
As part of our ongoing commitment to helping practices maximise value and reduce unnecessary costs, we are pleased to share the results of a pricing review conducted through our partnership with Buywise.
The review compared a Horsham GP practice’s expenditure on everyday consumables and operational supplies against the pricing available through the partnership.
The practice was purchasing a wide range of products across clinical, office and facilities and wanted to understand whether better value could be achieved without compromising quality or reliability.
A detailed comparison of the practice’s existing supplier pricing against the pricing available through the our Buywise partnership highlighted significant savings across multiple product categories. Across all 11 categories reviewed, Buywise offered lower prices than the incumbent supplier, with savings achieved without compromising quality.
The largest savings were identified in:
- Office machine supplies: 62.6%
- Health equipment: 48.5%
- Adhesives and tapes: 43.7%
- Personal protective equipment (PPE): 42.9%
- Office machines: 35.1%
- Janitorial supplies: 32.7%
The Outcome
By working with ABC and leveraging our partnership with Buywise, the practice identified substantial savings across every category reviewed while maintaining product quality and improving procurement efficiency. The exercise demonstrated how a simple pricing review can release valuable savings that can be redirected back into frontline patient care.
