We ask all new and existing locum GPs to review and sign our ABC Locum Policy, confirming your agreement to the organisation’s requirements for Locum Working.

Independent contractors agreement

Please read and sign
We ask all new and existing locum GPs to sign an Independent Contractors Agreement (ICA) that shows you are both happy to work within IR35 rules, and that you agree to the organisation’s requirements for Locum Working. A member of the People Team will send you an ICA to sign electronically once all governance is in place.
Operational support
All clinicians working within ABC services have access to the ABC Operations Team from 08:00-20:00, 365 days per year. This team provide real time support to our GPs before, during and after clinics to ensure a seamless journey for patients, and wraparound administrative support for our clinicians. Information on how to contact the Ops Team will be shared once you have been onboarded onto our Rota Bank.

Mandatory training checklist
ABC Locums will need to meet the requirements of the attached Locum Policy in order to be given access to our Lantum Rota Bank. This includes completion of all statutory and mandatory training modules as per our company policies.
All completed certificates can be sent directly to the People Team on abccic.peopleteam@nhs.net. If you would like any further support accessing training please let us know, as we can direct you to the appropriate e-learning or book you in for face-to-face BLS training.

Using the ABC Lantum rota
All ABC Lantum shifts are processed on Lantum – please create a profile if you do not already have one. When all governance has been completed, you will be added to the ABC Lantum Rota Bank as a pre-approved clinician and will be able to view all shifts.
