Follow-up care and support
Patients aged 55 to 74 will be offered a free NHS lung health check from their GP. Following these health checks, patients may be invited to a CT scan to check for early signs of lung cancer.
Once patients have received a CT scan, we process the results and communicate the outcomes required and any follow up to both the patient and the practice. We then enter the results onto the patient’s medical record.
