20th September 2022 – Local GP Federation, Alliance for Better Care, will now host its Horsham-based Vaccination Programme at the town’s Holbrook Surgery. The move, which sees ABC’s vaccination services relocate from the Rose Wing at Horsham Hospital, has allowed the team to expand capacity in time for the next phase of the Covid programme which launched this month.
The ABC team, alongside the Horsham Central Primary Care Network, have been providing vaccination services in the town since 2021, and were initially located in Millennium Hall in Roffey.
Katherine Saunders, ABC Chief Executive said: “We’re so pleased to be able to expand our site to ensure we are continuing to provide access to Covid vaccination services in this community. We’re hugely grateful to all of our partners and volunteers who have contributed to the ongoing success of this programme in the town.”
Patients can check their eligibility and access Covid vaccination appointment bookings via the national booking system or by calling 119: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/. Appointments are regularly added to the website and patients are requested to not contact their practices to book a vaccination appointment.

ABC has now administered more than 800,000 vaccination doses across East Surrey and Mid-Sussex, having launched 12 vaccination sites since the campaign began in December 2020.
