A message from Katherine Saunders, Chief Executive, ABC
We all know that the need for high-quality, locally provided primary care which supports people to live healthier, happier lives is even greater now than in 1948. We very much want the NHS to thrive and continue to be something we are all proud of for the next 75 years too and I’m confident that by working in partnership with our practices and the wider system, we’ll achieve this mission.
Today is a really positive celebration of everything the NHS is and can be, none of which would be possible without its people. I’m very proud to work with such an incredible team and love hearing about how people joined and what working in the NHS means to them. I think you will too so please take some time to read some thoughts below from our colleagues about their experiences.
We hope that today, in particular, allows you time to reflect and take pride in what we’ve achieved together. Here’s to the next 75 years.
